Condolence: Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. May your family and friends find peace and comfort as you talk about all the wonderful memories you share of him together. Like my family, I'm sure that you too are now awaiting the Bible's promise when Jesus will call our dead loved ones to live with us on earth again.
(John 5:28,29)
Maxine and I wish to express our sincere condolences following the transition of my classmate and friend Dorse Gene Broadus.
I suppose that the last time that we saw him was at the 50th Reunion of our 1965 graduating class held in Greenville, SC. He seemed to be having an unusually good time and we are so glad that we were able to see and enjoy ourselves with him.
Having lived 72 years, Gene has had a fairly long life and served our country in the military and also served many years as a NYPD police officer.
He loved his wife, his family, his bike and his 1965 classmates. He was quite a physical specimen and quite a high school athlete.
We will miss "Red", but we are confident that he is safely in God's care. May he rest in peace and may God comfort his family.
