Tiffanie Foreman, Funeral Director

Ms. Tiffanie Foreman is new to our staff. She makes it a point to fight for Breast Cancer Awareness every year.

Melvin D. Thompson, CEO/Owner

Licensed for over 55 years and owner of The L.H. Woodward Funeral Home for over 40 years. Mr. Thompson has worked tirelessly serving families and the community at large. His affiliations are with local, state, national and international organizations.

Lynda Thompson, Manager

Vicki Thompson-Simmons, Asst. Manager

Vicki has been working at Woodward's for over 22 years. She has been the assistant manager since 1999. She is the liaison between the funeral home and the community, often attending the police council and political meetings. She also supports and attends many church functions and fundraisers. Vicki's "give back" at Block association, PTA and place of worship meetings is to provide information and answer funeral service related questions. The goal is to provide insight regarding Insurance,wills, pre-planing and general overview of funeral home and cemetery charges

An honorably discharged Marine, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from American Academy McAllister Institute. Vicki has served as President of Brooklyn- Long Island and Empire State Funeral Directors Association and is a licensed notary She is married with four children. Her motto "I do the best I can ...then put the rest in God's hands".

Venus Thompson, Licensed Funeral Director

Licensed Funeral Director for over 25 years with the Woodward Funeral Home family. Venus speaks both English and Spanish and is able to conduct services to fit the needs of the family. Venus is a member of National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association. She has served as Secretary on a local level and ETA Chapter member.

Motto:" We as Funeral Directors are clean canvases and can only receive the paint and colors from our customers in order to provide them a picture for the frame of their loved one."

Simona Ross, Licensed Funeral Director

Sinoma Ross has jumped right in and became a dedicated part of the family. Simona graduated Magna Cum Laude from the American Academy McAllister Institute for Funeral Services. Simona participates in "Career Day" at local schools giving the students insight on funeral services. Being a mother of four children, she encourages the students to stay in school and achieve any goal they may pursue.
